Fomm Crash On Startup

Specs: i7 4950, 750ti 2GB vid card, 16GB ram, Windows 10 free edition, everything up to date, the steam GotY version of FO3 and the ultimate edition of NV.

For mod management, I primarily use NMM but I'm trying to use FOMM to get TTW to work. I'm using the latest version of FOMM v0.14.11.12 . I've also tried the recommended version of FOMM in the install guide, but they both crash before I can even install the Fomod.

Mods installed through MO2 won't show in the game launcher and won't show in the games Data folder. That isn't how MO2 works. FOMM and older programs like NMM dump everything in the game data folder. MO2 doesn't work like that. It keeps the data folder clean and loads all active mods using a VFS on startup. MO2 doesn't 'break' the mod.

So I've been playing New Vegas for the past month or two fooling around with addons in NMM. After a lot of work, the game is stable and runs almost perfectly. I'm itching to play FO3 (which I haven't played since 2008 on the Xbox) in the NV engine so I'm trying to finally get TTW installed and stable. NMM got really mad at me when I tried to install the giant 5GB Fomod that the installer generated so I took the advice of the install guide and installed the latest FOMM. However, this is also crashing for me everytime before I can even attempt to install the TTW Fomod. I have a quadrillion mods installed so is it even worth it to try and get TTW to work with a huge amount of mods?

Page 1 of 2 - FOMM Crashing on Startup - posted in New Vegas Technical Support: For some reason, FOMM refuses to start. All the mods i have downloaded through FOMM still work, as well as Fallout New Vegas itself. So in short if you are facing any crash due to limited memory usage of Fallout New Vegas engine which prevent you to add heavy mods like texture pack and other overhaul mods, where you start getting random CTD (Crash to Desktop) then you can get rid of those crashes by applying this method, it simply break the limit of fallout new vegas ram. It's the #1 file on the site. Just run the.exe and let it install. Then run Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM), and check the box to activate it. I had to get the Fake Windowed Fullscreen mod to prevent the game from crashing if I just hit Alt+Tab. Download the Fake Windowed Fullscreen mod from the Fallout 3 Nexus, and then open FOMM. Save changes and you start your game using the Administrator mode. Another feature that causes your game to crash is the auto-save feature. Because the game tries to save periodically, it can also affect your CPU and your memory storage. To opt-out of auto-saving, follow the steps listed below. When playing the game, press Esc.

Here's the error I'm getting that makes FOMM crash: Its doing this no matter what version of FOMM i've tried, btw.

Since FOMM wont stop crashing, I'm thinking I might give MO a last ditch effort before I give up on TTW.
